Your Frequently Asked Questions About Self Mini Storage

  • Will my boat or car be safe at your facility?

Yes! Even though boat and car storage units are set up outside, there are three walls around them and laid out in a way to prevent sun fading. We also offer 24-hour security surveillance to ensure your items are safe.

  • What size storage unit should I rent?

This depends on the amount and type of belongings you are planning to store as well as how long you plan to store them. If you are renting a unit for long-term storage, you might want to get a bigger unit that you can add to as time goes on. If you need temporary storage, you might opt for a smaller unit. Our team can help you choose the right size.

  • How long are rental agreements?

At Secure Storage, we offer long-term and temporary storage options based on your storage needs. Some customers use units for many years and others may use them while they are moving to create more space while their house is on the market.

  • What makes your storage facility stand out among others?

We offer a state-of-the-art storage facility with climate control, drive-up units, and 24-hour security surveillance as well as boat, car, and RV parking.

  • When can I access my storage unit?

  • Do I need climate control storage?

Our climate control storage units protect your items from moisture damage by keeping the unit at a standard temperature regardless of the outside weather conditions. Climate control storage units are recommended for storing household items such as furniture, pictures, etc.

  • Is insurance needed?

Insurance is available with your homeowners or renters policy. If needed, we offer eMove insurance through U-Haul.

  • What are your payment methods?

We accept cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard. Auto draft is available along with online payment.

  • Do I need a key?

Locks and keys are the responsibility of the tenants. Therefore, you are the only one with a key to your unit.

  • Do I need to make a reservation?

For peace of mind, making a reservation is important since availability changes daily.
